Here is an example breakout of the day:

• Getting Ready/Bridal Sessions – Final details of bride and groom, in their respective rooms, getting on their wedding attire along with their wedding party and/or family. Details of jewelry, shoes, final makeup touches, drinks, etc. Usually from one hour to one and a half-hour coverage.
• First Look (optional) – Short intimate couple’s session, right before the ceremony, the very first time for the groom to see the bride ready in her wedding dress. 10 to 15 minutes.
• Ceremony – It usually takes from 20 to 25 minutes, unless is a Mayan ceremony, then it is from 40 minutes to one hour.
• Formals – Pictures with family, friends, bridal party, and the whole group by the beach. From 25 minutes to one hour, depending on the number of guests.*
• Couple’s Session – 30 minutes to 1 hour photo session of the couple only, by the beach and perhaps some nice spots around the resort (depending on your preferences).
• Cocktail Hour – Optional, if there is one or any other activity.
• Reception – Entrances, speeches, first dance, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet throw, etc. Usually done within the first one or two hours of the reception.
• Party – Optional
