Gisela & Michael’s Playa Del Carmen Wedding
We know that our couples are always grateful with the people who raised them. Their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts. They are the ones that helped them become who they are. So it is normal to see them have a special part in any celebration in the sun. Gisela decided to have her mom walking her down the aisle in her Playa del Carmen wedding with Michael and this is what they told us about them:
“Family comes first, we grew up in Houston, I was born in Mexico City and my husband was born in Peru. We met through a mutual friend and a birthday dinner.
We decided to get married because we wanted to seal the deal and give our son the value of a family.”
Our Playa del Carmen Wedding
“We love the beach, we wanted to have a special vacation with our family and close friends, we loved enjoying a week full of adventures.”
So, a Playa del Carmen wedding was the most natural choice.
“We loved our Playa del Carmen wedding ceremony! It was fun, romantic and special, I loved seeing everyone gathered around us to witness our love for each other.”
“My mother Isabel Delgado, couldn’t have done any of this without her, my only sister Melina Lopez, my beautiful niece Dalilah who was a flower girl, my son Caden who witness mom and dad tie the knot, my best childhood friend Brenda Trejo and her daughter another flower girl Lynette, my uncle Victor Aguirre, we had our close friends, Jorge, Dustin, Mama Reyna, Ana, Gisela, Robert and Monica and her 5 kids. We were so grateful for everyone that made the great effort to attend our wedding, we felt beyond blessed.”
Mom Is Everything
“Loved Waking down the aisle with my mother, she raised us and protected us and still watches over us and our children, wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
“Everything was easy and convenient with WeddingDayStory. I loved all of the pictures but my favorite would be the one where my husband is holding our son up in the air and we are both looking at him.”
Spectacular, Amazing Destination Wedding
“Ghalia, our wedding coordinator from Viva Wyndham Maya was a God send, she was the best, on top of every detail, very accommodating and always lovely. We had no concern at all, from day 1 Ghalia was an amazing person to work with and she took care of everything. Our advice would be to go for it, stress free, and they would have a beautiful experience.”
A Few Details
“Somewhere over the Rainbow by Iz was the song I walked down the aisle to, beautiful song, perfect for a beach wedding. The food was from Don Diego Restaurante at Viva Wyndham Maya. My friend Ana did my hair and I did my own make up.”
Congratulations Gisela & Michael, you are an adorable couple and we hope your love continues to grow stronger everyday!
