It’s A Married Christmas… Our Destination Wedding Holiday Cards Are In!
It’s Lili Cortés, WeddingDayStory’s Post Ceremony Master sending my warmest greetings (literally) from our headquarters in Playa del Carmen, México.
It’s that time of the year again… And, though we are in the sunniest of locations, where 85+ degrees during the afternoon is the rule, we are starting to roll out the Christmas decorations. Plus, our Destination Wedding Holiday Cards are back! I’ll tell you all about them in this post.
Though the giant cardboard snowflakes matched with warm socks and hats might feel a bit out of place here indeed, I love that this time of the year is when everyone thinks of the ones they love and the connections they share, they shower each other with gifts and, most importantly, with loving words and thoughts. The members of our Family of shiny-new families and newlywed couples have a lot to celebrate this year, as it is their first holiday season together, now that they forever sealed their romance under the sun…! I really enjoy to be part of this exchange of affection. They are just such a loving bunch!
This year, we are offering three different types of cards: 4″ x 8″ and 5″ x 7″ in a flat design, or folded 5″ x 7″ traditional cards (the type of cards with lots of blank space so you can go on and on on the inside).
The 4″ x 8″ cards are my personal favourites, and they the only ones that can be personalised with these beautiful matching envelopes. How cute it would be to send your Holiday Cards (made out of your beautiful destination wedding images, of course) in these envelopes that come printed out with your return address in the same font of the cards, and even have a pattern with your last name in the inside? I love small details like that! You can even close the envelopes with a custom sticker seal. If you don’t fancy to give your cards this type of matchy-match look, plain white envelopes are included with all cards (but they are boooring..!!).
Custom messages can be printed in the front and back of all cards, and the inside of the folded ones. Have you ever stopped and think about how Holiday and Christmas Cards (like ours, real cards you can touch and feel, made out of heavyweight paper) are one of the only remaining exponents of old school, hand-written letters? I bet nowadays, it’s the only form of postal correspondence many of us get. Just another reason to love them!
Both the folded and plain 5″ x 7″ designs are great because they will also fit any photo album or scrapbook… I’m sure your parents are just waiting to save that first Christmas Card you sent as a newlywed!
What says “New family in the making” more than a Holiday Card? Don’t miss out on your chance to make a mark this year, and remember: you won’t be a newlywed ever again! (That’s the whole point, right?)
Finally, I leave you with our 2015 Destination Wedding Holiday Card pricing:
|Flat 4″ x 8″||Flat 5″ x 7″||Folded 5″ x 7″||Stickers|
Have yourself a Married little Christmas!
Until next time,
Lili Cortés | WeddingDayStory
