Joanna & Luke’s Riviera Maya Trash The Dress

Having a Riviera Maya trash the dress is a wonderful way to end your destination wedding. It is like closure for the perfect wedding trip… And make memories that you’ll be able to go back to over and over again when you want to be taken back to paradise!

On this occasion, we did a fun Riviera Maya trash the dress with Joanna & Luke, a beautiful young couple from West Midlands (UK). Luke grew up in a small village called Fillongley and Joanna a small town called Bedworth and met at Ash Green Secondary School in Coventry.

And this is the rest of their story:

Their Married Life

We now live in Joanna’s home town Bedworth. Luke works in Road Traffic Management and Joanna a Resourcing Coordinator for a Retail company.”

Like A Birthday Gift

“Luke asked Joanna on her 20th birthday whilst away at her nan’s surrounded by some of her nearest and dearest.”

A Riviera Maya Trash The Dress Session

After deciding to get married in Mexico finding the perfect photographer and having as much memories as possible to look back on became one of the most important aspects of our wedding and time away. After finding WeddingDayStory and coming across their amazing trash the dress pictures we decided this was a must. Our favourite parts of the day were definitely the fun parts i.e jumping in the pool, going down the lazy river in rubber dingy’s  (after all it’s not every day your jumping in a pool with a wedding dress and suit on). We had our Riviera Maya trash the dress in the hotel and love Grand Sirenis so we’re happy with this.”

“We definitely had fears of what other guests would think but everyone loved it and we even had guests following us and taking pictures of us jumping in the pool.

How Is It Like?

At first Joanna was a little concerned with things (e.g Hair & makeup) but the team wouldn’t ask you to do anything you weren’t comfortable with and they actually jumped in the water at some points to help.”

“It’s so hard to choose a favorite picture from our Riviera Maya trash the dress as we love so many of them but everyone’s always commenting on the one when we are just looking at the camera, with the water up to our necks.”

Memories That Remain

We always remember how much we were laughing in the lazy river and sea when trying to run for our Riviera Maya trash the dress. We loved every minute and hope to do this again one day on a special anniversary.”

Mexico Under My Skin

We loved everything about Mexico, how you could either have a lazy day doing nothing by the pool to Zip lining through a forest. You could never be fed up in Mexico as there is something for everyone. We were a party of 34 and all came home saying ‘I will go back there one day’.”

To Really Trash Your Dress In The Riviera Maya

As we were having a blessing and party when returning home I decided to buy a sale dress just for the Riviera Maya trash the dress, which was great as my 1st wedding dress was more structured. “

“We would definitely recommend the Riviera Maya trash the dress session, its a little something just for you and your partner to share and look back on as we often do.

We would also like to thank the team for our wedding photography and video, we received so many lovely comments on how they looked like something out of OK magazine, we cannot thank you enough!”

We love you Joanna & Luke! You are so kind and generous. We were pleased to re-live your beautiful Riviera Maya trash the dress.
